Seafood Task Force
The Thai Civil Society’s Coalition for Sustainable and Ethical Seafood
The Thai Civil Society’s Coalition for Sustainable and Ethical Seafood (formerly known as the shrimp supply chain management sustainable agency) is a multi-stakeholder partnership comprising retailers from Europe and the United States, suppliers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), shrimp processors, and aquafeed manufacturers in Thailand.
As part of Thai Union Group, TFM supports the Alliance’s initiatives and collaborates with stakeholders to achieve shared goals that drive positive and sustainable change across the seafood industry.

Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is an international organization that promotes responsible aquaculture and aquafeed production. ASC standards cover responsible sourcing, environmental stewardship, labor and human rights, traceability, and sustainable development throughout the supply chain.
TFM became the first aquafeed manufacturer in Asia to achieve ASC Feed Standard Certification, reflecting its commitment to advancing global sustainability standards within the aquaculture industry.

Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)
Best Aquaculture Practices is a globally recognized certification program for responsible aquaculture. The standard covers environmental management, food safety, animal welfare, social responsibility, and traceability throughout the aquaculture supply chain.

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil is an international organization that promotes the production and sourcing of sustainable palm oil through environmental, social, and governance standards that support responsible supply chains.
TFM operates under the sustainability framework of Thai Union Group, which is an RSPO member, and is committed to promoting the sourcing of responsibly produced and traceable raw materials.

Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX)
Supplier Ethical Data Exchange is a global platform and network that supports responsible supply chain management across labor standards, human rights, health and safety, environmental performance, and business ethics. It helps organizations and their suppliers enhance sustainability, transparency, and responsible business practices.

Issara Institute
Independent Institute
The Issara Institute works to address human trafficking and forced labor issues across Southeast Asia. Through worker hotlines and social media applications, the organization provides guidance and enables workers to report labor rights concerns and potential violations they may witness.
TFM and Thai Union Group collaborate with the Issara Institute by displaying worker hotline information throughout their facilities, promoting worker protection and strengthening human rights practices across the supply chain.

Migrant Workers Rights Network (MWRN)
The Migrant Workers Rights Network promotes and protects the rights of migrant workers, particularly workers from Myanmar living and working in Thailand. The organization is an important partner in supporting human rights and worker welfare initiatives, helping ensure that workers are treated fairly, safely, and in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Department of Fisheries
The Department of Fisheries is a key partner in promoting aquafeed production standards, quality assurance systems, food safety certifications, and the sustainable development of
Thailand’s aquaculture industry. Through this collaboration, TFM contributes to building responsible and internationally competitive aquaculture supply chains.

Department of Livestock Development
The Department of Livestock Development is the government authority responsible for regulating and promoting animal feed production standards, quality assurance systems, and product safety. The Department plays a vital role in supporting the sustainable development of Thailand’s animal feed industry and strengthening international recognition of industry standards.
