1. Who is TFM?
Thai Union Feedmill Public Company Limited (TFM) was established in 2000 and has been operating for over 25 years. The company plays a vital role as one of Thailand’s leading producers of aquaculture feed, particularly for shrimp and fish. We are committed to delivering high-quality products through innovation that meets the needs of the industry, while also promoting sustainable aquaculture practices.
Last year marked a significant milestone for TFM when we received international certification from the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC). This recognition made us the first feed mill in Asia to be certified for sustainable aquaculture feed production. This achievement affirms our commitment to responsible business practices and highlights our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in the aquafeed industry.
2. TFM’s Core Business
The company and its subsidiaries generate revenue primarily from:
- Shrimp feed: 64%
- Fish feed: 28%
- Livestock feed: 6%
- Others: 2%
In the past year, 84% of our revenue came from the Thai market, 12% from Indonesia, and the remaining 4% from other countries. Currently, TFM operates in 13 countries worldwide through various business models.
