Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Feed Standard Certification
TFM is committed to advancing a more sustainable future for the aquaculture industry through the production of high-quality aquafeed that meets internationally recognized standards. We are proud to be the first aquafeed producer in Asia to achieve the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Feed Standard Certification, a globally recognized standard covering responsible sourcing, human and labor rights, environmental management, and full supply chain traceability.
The certification reflects our commitment to building a transparent and responsible supply chain, ensuring that key raw materials are sourced in accordance with rigorous environmental and social requirements. It also reinforces our leadership in sustainability by helping customers, farmers, and business partners meet growing international expectations for responsible aquaculture production. Through ASC Feed Certification, we contribute to raising industry standards while creating long-term value for customers, communities, and the environment.
Shrimp Decarbonization Project
TFM, in collaboration with Thai Union Group, is driving the Shrimp Decarbonization Project to support the transition toward low-carbon shrimp farming. The project promotes practical solutions that help farmers reduce greenhouse gas emissions while improving farm productivity and profitability. Key initiatives include the adoption of solar energy systems, automated feeding technologies that improve feed efficiency, and the use of responsibly sourced aquafeed made from deforestation-free ingredients.
In addition, the project strengthens traceability throughout the shrimp supply chain and encourages farming practices that support lower environmental impact. By helping farmers reduce energy costs, improve operational efficiency, and gain access to sustainability-focused markets, the project creates economic value while contributing to the reduction of the aquaculture industry's carbon footprint. It represents an important step toward building a more resilient, transparent, and climate-conscious shrimp value chain for the future.
