Bangkok – September 22, 2025 – Thai Union Feedmill Public Company Limited (TFM), a leading Thai producer and distributor of aquaculture and livestock feed, is responding to the global trend toward sustainable aquafeed by supporting Thai farmers with integrated innovations and technologies. Through its comprehensive “Solution Partner” program, the company deploys technical experts nationwide to deliver farmer education, improve survival rates, reduce costs, increase yields, and enhance farm management efficiency, ultimately boosting profitability. With its production standards emphasizing cleanliness and safety, TFM continues to deliver products that meet market demand. In the first half of 2025, domestic sales grew by 9.3 percent compared with the previous year, reflecting market confidence in the company’s quality products and services. TFM also highlights its strengthened production capabilities following an upgrade of its production lines through digital transformation, ensuring readiness to support sustainable growth.

Mr. Peerasak Boonmeechote, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Union Feedmill PCL, stated that modern consumers are increasingly focused on quality, safety, and sustainability, particularly regarding the origin of aquaculture products and the assurance of certified production standards. This trend compels aquaculture operators and farmers to adapt their farming methods, adopt standardized practices, and integrate advanced technologies to enhance efficiency. TFM shares this vision, with a mission to develop high-quality products and deliver innovative solutions that address market needs. The company is committed to continuous development in every area – from production and marketing to services – while firmly upholding sustainable business practices and maintaining close collaboration with farmers.

In addition to policies that help local farmers achieve sustainable aquaculture certification, TFM also sends technical experts across the country under its “Solution Partner” model to provide scientific knowledge, technical information, and in-depth consultation. These services cover production planning, optimal feed calculation, and cost management strategies. The company also promotes the use of probiotics in place of antibiotics. As a result, TFM has raised aquaculture survival rates to an industry benchmark of 80 percent, while helping farms that were previously unprofitable return to profitability.

Meanwhile, TFM continues to leverage its expertise, production techniques, and innovative capacity to research and develop specialized aquafeed products. The company has also established trial farms dedicated to aquafeed development, allowing it to create new formulas that ensure consistent quality, cost efficiency, and improved farm productivity. These initiatives enable farmers to meet the growing global demand for sustainably produced aquaculture. In addition, TFM’s executives actively engage with distributors and farmer groups through field visits and seminars, providing knowledge not only on downstream market trends but also on farming techniques. With these combined efforts, domestic shrimp feed sales volume in the first half of 2025 rose by 16 percent, while domestic fish feed sales volume increased by 4 percent.

At the same time, TFM has advanced its own operations through digital transformation. Completed in August 2025, this upgrade modernized the company’s production lines with digital technologies, enhancing efficiency, quality, and capacity. This transformation enables TFM to fully meet growing demand in both domestic and export markets, consistent with its steady sales growth.

The CEO added that the outlook for shrimp farming in 2025 is promising, supported by favorable shrimp prices and the conclusion of tariff negotiations between Thailand and the United States, which sets new tariff rates and signals positive momentum for Thailand’s aquafeed industry. With its dedication to product development, innovation, and close collaboration with farmers, TFM is committed to leading the sustainable growth of Thailand’s aquafeed industry and continuing to stand side by side with Thai farmers toward long-term success.
