Thai Union Feedmill Public Company Limited provided support for the project “Building and Strengthening Hearts: School Fence Construction for Safety and Care Together.”

Thai Union Feedmill Public Company Limited held a dialogue with community leaders, including the village headman, the school director, the director of the Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, the village health volunteer president, and the senior citizens’ club president. The purpose was to listen to information, needs, and concerns related to safety and the company’s operations in the local area.

Through these discussions, safety issues within the school were identified. As a result, the company provided support for the repair and enhancement of the school fence to help create a safe learning environment.

The project outcomes included repairing concrete wall fencing, sealing cracks and damaged areas, and extending the height of the fence with additional steel fencing. Community members participated throughout the entire process, from planning to construction, with a total of 65 participants involved.

As a result, the school’s internal safety system was significantly improved. Community satisfaction reached 88.31 percent, exceeding the established target. The project strengthened the positive relationship between the company and the community, improved orderliness within the school grounds, and reduced risks from unauthorized individuals and animals entering the school premises. It also helped build confidence among parents and community members.

In addition, the initiative enhanced the company’s corporate image as a business that places importance on social responsibility and surrounding communities, while also fostering pride among employees who actively participated in meaningful public service activities.
