Thai Union Feedmill Public Company Limited supported agricultural education for educational institutions within the local community by donating fish fingerlings as learning resources for aquaculture projects based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. This support enabled teachers and students to develop practical projects such as fish farming in earthen ponds, concrete ponds, or recirculating water systems, while building skills in animal care, farm management, and responsibility through hands-on practice.
The initiative helped reduce start-up costs for schools in implementing agricultural projects, increased opportunities for students to learn through real-life experience, and allowed harvested produce to be utilized in school lunch programs or school activities. In addition, the project strengthened positive relationships between the company and local educational institutions and reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable community development and the promotion of education, encompassing both knowledge enhancement and vocational skill development for youth.
